Located on the northern coast of Lake Geneva, the heart of the French-speaking region of Switzerland, Lausanne is a cosmopolitan city that sits on three hills where the north consists of countryside towns and beaches of the lake to the south. This picturesque landscape of the Alps and the lake provide an ideal setting for study. Lausanne embraces a relaxing atmosphere decorated in green space. It is a city that values the quality of life it is full of gardens and parks with accessible public transportation.

With a commitment to sustainability and good quality of life both in the city and on-campus, many students in Lausanne spend their time outside taking lakeside strolls, rollerblading, cycling and simply spending time in the outdoors.
